Level 1, 2 and 3
It is vital that those working within the Dental Practice understand how important it is to always ensure the safety and security of anyone within their care, or who they come into contact with as part of their role, in line with CQC standards.
This safeguarding course will clarify the roles and responsibilities of General Dental Practitioners and the whole dental team in promoting the safety and well being of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
A GDC registrant must complete Safeguarding training in every CPD cycle. This course ensures that you are fully up to date and comply with the GDC regulations.
On completion of this course you will be able to:
- Be able to recognise signs of abuse.
- Be able to respond appropriately to suspected or alleged abuse.
- Be able to recognise the national and local context of safeguarding and protection from abuse.
- Know the most appropriate ways to reduce the likelihood of abuse.
- Know how to recognise and report unsafe practices.
This course is a GDC and CQC requirement and on completion awards 3 hours of enhanced CPD.
What our customers say..
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and was so pleased to receive my certificate. Looking to do more courses in the future with you . Thank you once again!
I’m so over the moon that I have passed my exam!!
Thank you so much for your help and support would definitely recommend you to other nurses and I’m definitely considering doing more courses through yourself
I think you and your team are amazing! And even if I had failed I would have been saying the same!!
Interesting statistics. Good examples of symptoms to look out for and I love the idea of ‘was not brought’. Will use this moving forward.
Good refresher on general nursing and detailed information on impression material. Can’t wait to start taking impressions.
I feel much more confident discussing diet and OHI with patients. The course provided good information on lots of topics not just OHI.
I found Forensic Odontology fascinating so I would be interested in doing a more in-depth course on this subject. All the core subjects are of interest to me.
A lot of information provided. I have a better understanding of advanced surgical procedures and implant components.
“Thank you so much, Tracy. You have been amazing and a great help. I am so happy to have passed”
