Our teaching staff are registered dental nurses so we know what its like to juggle a million things at once, however, we are lucky to now be working full time for DTL so we are easily contactable.
We keep our costs as low as possible so that learning is available to everyone, we even offer interest free payment plans!
We care about our students and will do our best to ensure that you pass your examination first time.
When you register with us you will be assigned a tutor to help you every step of the way and we encourage you to contact us with any difficulties or just for a chat.
We are the largest and probably the best course provider of NEBDN post graduate courses in the U.K.
We have been around a long time! – In 2011 our first course was fully accredited by the NEBDN as a classroom course then in 2017 we moved all our courses to online learning. In 2019 Tracy bought the company and changed the name from Cavity Dental Training Ltd to Dental Training Ltd.
We offer online course so you can enrol at any time convenient to you.
You will not attend any classes as all theoretical work is online. You will need to log in and work your through each module during your home study. It is advised that you do this 3/4 hours a week, along with reading the recommended reading material.
The exam style is written MCQ & EMC. The exam is held online every March and September.
This is dependent on when you wish to sit the exam. The quickest you can do this course is 6 months leading up to a scheduled exam date.
Your RoC must be completed over a minimum of 3 months and this must be completed 1.5 months before the exam. Please ensure this time frame is achievable when you select your exam date to avoid additional incurred costs.
The closing dates to apply for the examinations are
March applications must be received by the 15th September
September applications must be received by the 15th March
We cannot advise you on which exam date to choose but please ring us and we will try and help. Everyone will have different working circumstances which may affect the completion of the RoC.
This fee covers your online theoretical work, your RoC and the examination fee (resit fee will be an extra cost).
You will need to buy a book from the NEBDN recommended reading material, we advise you compare costs before purchasing your books.
If you need to defer your exam for personal reasons or for failing to complete the RoC in time you will be charged an £85 fee.
What our customers say..
I started the Implant Dental Nursing Course with Dental Training Ltd back in June 2021, and I’ve really enjoyed the journey, in particular Aimee, my tutor, and Tracy both with as a huge support, helping me and giving me the tools to help me along the way! I haven’t studied for a post qualification for a while so getting back in to disciplined learning and deadlines seemed a very scary task! The Pebblepad tool is excellent, although for me initially I found to tricky to navigate but Aimee and Tracy were on hand to help get me going.
Pebblepad has been a great asset to me and to the course, being able to dip in and out when I was mobile was great. I found myself using it at home in the evenings, at work and even out and about at the weekends! It was very easy to use for any length of time.
I found Forensic Odontology fascinating so I would be interested in doing a more in-depth course on this subject. All the core subjects are of interest to me.
I feel much more confident discussing diet and OHI with patients. The course provided good information on lots of topics not just OHI.
“Thank you so much, Tracy. You have been amazing and a great help. I am so happy to have passed”

I’m so over the moon that I have passed my exam!!
Thank you so much for your help and support would definitely recommend you to other nurses and I’m definitely considering doing more courses through yourself
I think you and your team are amazing! And even if I had failed I would have been saying the same!!
A lot of information provided. I have a better understanding of advanced surgical procedures and implant components.
I thoroughly enjoyed the course and was so pleased to receive my certificate. Looking to do more courses in the future with you . Thank you once again!
Interesting statistics. Good examples of symptoms to look out for and I love the idea of ‘was not brought’. Will use this moving forward.
Good refresher on general nursing and detailed information on impression material. Can’t wait to start taking impressions.
