Recently, Raj developed courses for dental nurses involved in surgical dentistry for the local deanery in the view of enhancing skills and to emphasize the importance of good surgical assistance.
The aim of this course is to improve knowledge in oral medicine and boost confidence in identifying oral lesions.
This informative lecture will explain the causes and management of oral lesions and will discuss basic understanding of the oral anatomy including normal and abnormal oral anatomy.

Raj is a lecturer for Thames valley deanery and conducts Minor oral surgery courses across Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire for General Dentists.
Raj’s post-graduate training in the United Kingdom has provided extensive exposure in the field of oral surgery, and he was awarded the membership from the Royal College of Surgeon’s England and successfully attained Fellowship from the Royal College of surgeon’s Ireland in oral surgery with oral medicine, confirming his academic knowledge and experience in the field.
He has published a number of articles in peer reviewed journals, and delivers periodic lectures in oral surgery. He is also a reviewer of oral surgery articles published in International dental journals.
